by Markus Rummel. Coaching endurance athletes well takes time. Reviewing data, adjusting plans, responding to how each athlete is recovering and progressing: there is a limit to how many athletes you can closely monitor before the quality of attention starts to drop.
The AI Endurance Coaching Portal is built around a simple idea: you should be able to scale without giving up what makes your coaching yours. Your methodology stays intact. You keep full oversight and control. AI handles the computation, the monitoring, and the ongoing plan adaptation that your athletes benefit from. Every athlete still gets an individually optimized plan.
We built this together with BartCoaching, ranked as the number one amateur triathlon club in Canada in the IRONMAN rankings since 2015. Here is what the platform offers.
Every coaching organization has a methodology. The way you structure progression, the balance between volume and intensity, the types of workouts you believe in: these are what define your coaching identity. Losing that in an AI-generated plan would defeat the purpose.
The Coaching Prompt solves this. You define a prompt that describes your coaching philosophy and requirements. This prompt is injected into every plan our AI generates for your athletes. The AI must analyze and adjust each plan against these requirements, so the output reflects your approach, not a generic template.
For BartCoaching, their coaching prompt encodes principles like sustainable progression over quick gains, quality of training over volume, and clear intent behind every workout. It specifies how their custom workouts should be handled and how training should be structured. The prompt can be as detailed or as high-level as you want.
The result is the best of both worlds: automated, data-driven plan generation that adapts to each athlete individually, while staying grounded in the coaching methodology you have developed over years of experience.

Most coaches already have a library of workouts they have refined over time, typically stored in TrainingPeaks. Abandoning those for generic AI-generated sessions is not an appealing proposition.
We worked with BartCoaching to import their workout library into AI Endurance. Their collection includes 35 structured workouts across cycling and running: FTP intervals, VO2Max sessions, half-marathon pace work, long aerobic runs, each with specific coaching cues, cadence targets, and progression levels.
Our system schedules these workouts intelligently into each athlete's plan. It considers the athlete's current fitness level, the training phase, availability, recovery status, and the overall plan structure to decide when and where each workout fits. Your workouts stay exactly as designed. The AI handles the when and the context.
If you have a workout library in TrainingPeaks, we can integrate it so your athletes train with the sessions you trust, scheduled by an AI that understands periodization, recovery, and individual adaptation.

The portal gives you a single place to manage all your athletes. From one account, you will get an AI-curated overview of your entire roster: athletes who are not following their plan, not improving, or coming off a stretch of poor sleep or recovery are automatically flagged. When you want to dig deeper, you click into any athlete's full dashboard: training calendar, recovery metrics, HRV, activity details, plan progress. If something needs adjusting, you intervene directly: modify workouts, skip sessions, or trigger a plan recalculation. AI helps with the monitoring so you can focus on the coaching.

AI Endurance connects with the devices and platforms you and your athletes already use: Garmin, Strava, Suunto, Coros, Wahoo, Polar, Oura, WHOOP, Intervals.icu, Nolio, and soon Zwift, Rouvy, and Hammerhead. Activity data, recovery metrics, and overnight HRV all flow in automatically. Workouts export back out to all major platforms. Recovery data feeds into each athlete's recovery model, and the AI can propose easier workouts or adjusted volumes when recovery is low.
If you use TrainingPeaks, your athletes can connect their TP account so that AI-generated workouts appear directly in their TP calendar. You can continue reviewing plans and completed workouts in TrainingPeaks as you always have, while the plan generation and adaptation happens in AI Endurance behind the scenes.

BartCoaching's team of nearly 15 coaches serves athletes across all levels, from first-time triathletes to elite age-groupers pursuing Kona qualification.
Their TriClub Flex offering combines AI Endurance's adaptive plan generation with BartCoaching's coaching methodology. Athletes get a plan that adjusts dynamically from week to week based on their data, while the underlying structure follows BartCoaching's philosophy. The coaches maintain oversight and can step in at any point through the portal.

This is what the Coaching Portal is designed for: not replacing you, but giving you leverage. AI builds a digital twin of each athlete, models recovery, crunches data at a scale no human coach could, and finds the optimal plan. It also handles the ongoing adaptation: adjusting for missed sessions, incorporating new recovery data, rescheduling around availability changes. The coaching expertise (philosophy, athlete relationships, strategic decisions) stays with you.
If you are a coach or run a coaching organization and want to explore how AI Endurance can work for your athletes, reach out to us at info@aiendurance.com. We will work with you to set up your coaching prompt, import your workout library, and get your athletes connected.
Pricing follows a per-athlete model in line with our standard plans, with volume discounts depending on the number of athletes.
We built this because the best coaching will come from humans and AI working together, each doing what they do best.

by Markus Rummel. At AI Endurance, your optimized training plan has always been built on data — not guesswork. We start by crunching the numbers: analyzing your recovery, availability, and long-term progression to create an efficient, evidence-based plan.

If you do not want to use Zwift or other virtual platforms, you can simply execute your AI Endurance cycling workouts by letting your Garmin control your smart trainer. For example, let your Garmin Edge 530 or Forerunner 945 control your Wahoo Kickr trainer. All smart trainers supporting the ANT+ FE-C protocol, including Tacx, are supported.

Use Zwift running workouts to increase your running pace with a data-driven, personalized and predictive Zwift running training plan from AI Endurance.
